Hello
My name is Riley, and I am the owner of Calendula Creations. I believe my purpose in life is to heal, learn, create, and transform. This healing started with me in my personal life and now I have been given the opportunity to assist and support others on their healing journeys. I have done extensive personal work in different therapeutic modalities. I also combine my lived experiences with the information I am learning as graduate student in social work to approach healing in an empowered, transformative, and dialectical manner. As I continue my education in and outside the classroom, I will one day be a therapist and eventually open my own community oriented accessible and wholistic healing space.
My Background
My educational background is in social work, English, anthropology and creative writing. I am currently in school for my Master of Social Work. I seek to combine my social work and anthropological knowledge to support my divination practices and use my spiritual abilities like tarot reading and creativity for assisting those who seek support. I have been a lifelong creativity expresser through visual arts, poetry, and more and value when others engage in and connect with their creative abilities.

My personal and professional interests are rooted in therapeutic practices like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I am a firm believer in the benefits and science of therapy and will always encourage clients to seek professional resources like Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors and other licensed professionals.
